Where is God?

Several people search for an answer only after they land in crisis. It is human psychology. A man closely follow the principles of God in his life after he lays at his feet. He happens to meet God – ‘Coffee with God’ style during one occasion.

He requests God to recollect his past memories. God waves his wand and suddenly both are on a sandy beach – certainly not Marina Beach. God asks his disciple to turn back. He saw two pair of foot path marks on the beach sand. The man and God walk besides the foot path marks.

God narrates his disciple about his past activities when he was 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5…Suddenly one pair of foot path marks disappeared from the sandy shore. The man turns at the God and yells at him. Why did you leave me alone when I was young? God patiently turns at his disciple, the foot path marks are mine. “As you were young, I was taking you on my shoulder and disappeared.”

The story was told by the veteran writer Sivasankari at a function in Tiruchi in 1998 and it inspired me a lot.
